Suitable Threads from Our Range

• Heat-resistant: Gütermann KEVLAR®/STEEL and ACERO with steel core, ANEGUARD with Kevlar®
• Conductive: Gütermann ANTISTATIC for dissipating static charge, e.g. for safety footwear
• Reflective: Gütermann ANEFIL REFLECTOR – visibility built into the seam
• Highly elastic: Gütermann ELASTIC with polyurethane content
• Decorative: Gütermann POLAR and W 331 with metallic sheen

What Matters

• Requirement first, then the thread: temperature, standard, resistance or appearance set the direction
• Check machine and needle: special threads often require adapted needle sizes and thread tensions
• Observe standards: for protective equipment the required standard determines what is permissible
